Contingency is the part of the Hankook program that comes back to you after the race weekend rather than at checkout. The special pricing on RS4 tires is open to any SCCA Enduro National Tour competitor; the contingency award is what you claim once the car has finished on the podium. Three things have to line up for that: the tires, the decals, and a claim sent in after the event.

1. The tires

Awards are built around the Hankook Ventus RS4 (Z232), the UTQG 200 tire we stock for the series. Fifteen sizes are listed, from 195/50ZR15 up to 305/30ZR19, and every one of them shows the wheel width it is meant to run on. Check that range against your wheels before you order - the size that clears the fender is not always the size that suits the rim. 2. The decals

Contingency runs on visible branding, so the decals have to be on the car at the event you are claiming for. Contingency Decals are listed at no charge and can go into the same order as the tires. If you are running a full season, take a spare set: decals do not always survive a weekend of pressure washing and body work.

3. The claim

After the event, the claim goes in through the Contingency Claim Form on this site. Fill in the event and finishing details it asks for, and keep your order number handy - it is the quickest way to tie a claim to the tires it was run on. Getting tires there in time

Orders placed by 2 pm central ship the same day, Monday through Friday. Ground transit times are not guaranteed and a shipment can be split up or run a few days late, so for a race weekend the express options at checkout are the safer choice. If the event is inside a week of the day you order, get in touch before you place it. Pickups at 10808 FM 1625 in Austin are by appointment, Mon - Fri, 10am - 5pm.
